All Airport Drops and Pickups

Accommodation

  • 4 Night hotel (Fairfield Marriott – Thamel or equivalent) accommodation in Kathmandu:

    • Twin-Sharing

    • Bed & Breakfast Basis

  • Twin Sharing bed room accommodation at tea houses, best available during the trek en-route:

    • Please note that during peak season time (end-Mar – mid-May, October – November), tea houses may request to accommodate more trekkers. They may offer larger capacity rooms to be shared between more trekkers (of the same group)

Meals

  • 3 Major meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, with cup of tea or coffee with each meal by Lodge menu) during trekking

Trekking Support

  • Experienced and Government license holder trekking Guides

  • 1 Porter for every two clients (1 Porter: 2 Clients) to carry client overnight bags during the trekking period as per Itinerary

  • Per person 12Kg baggage allowance during trekking, carried by porter

Trekking Permits

  • Khumbu Pasang Lamu Rural Municipality Entrance Fee

  • Sagarmatha National Park Fee

  • All official taxes in Nepal

Other Services

  • All wages, equipment, medical and accidental Insurance for all involved Trekking Staff

  • First Aid medical kits for the group and the staff

Price Exclusion

GST & TCS

  • GST at 5%

  • For other than Indian nationalities, GST (Goods and Services Tax) is not applicable as the final services are not rendered within India. However, other nationalities will have to submit a Letter of Undertaking in a prescribed format, to be submitted by Odati Adventures Pvt. Ltd. to the GST authorities to claim the GST waiver

  • 5 - 20% TCS (Tax Collectible at Source) applicable for Indian Citizens for paying in INR based on their LRS spending:

    • Please enquire. A 20% TCS has come into force from 01 Oct 2023

    • TCS is collected by Odati Adventures at the time of booking and paid to the IT under your PAN no. You may claim the refund of the same at the time of filing your IT returns. Odati Adventures can provide you with the Form 16 as needed

    • Please note that there is still some ambiguity regarding the applicable TCS of 20% and we are seeking further advice from our CA

    • Request your patience and cooperation

    • Indian Citizens are requested to submit their PAN card copies at the time of payment along with other documents

Airfare & Visa

  • Airfare: To & from your country to Kathmandu (Nepal)

  • Nepal entry, re-entry / visa fees

  • International airport departure taxes

  • Personal travel and / or accident / medical / evacuation insurance

Accommodation

  • Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu / Lukla beyond the nights as mentioned in the itinerary

  • Single Supplement Charges:

    • For stay in Kathmandu

    • For staying in Tea Houses, based on availability

Meals

  • Lunches and Dinners in Kathmandu, unless mentioned in the itinerary above

    • A decent meal will cost you ~INR 500 - 800/- per person while in Kathmandu

  • Additional meals and refreshments beyond the scope of what is included in the meals included section above

  • Special meals that may be beyond the scope of easy availability during the trek

  • Mineral water, Bottled water or purified water

Utilities & Personal Expenses

  • Any charges towards use of electricity / power for any purpose like charging (mobiles, iPads, Kindles, cameras, etc.), listening to music, reading, working on laptop or any electronic devices

  • Soft drinks, aerated drinks during the course of the trip

  • Expenses of personal nature

  • Internet, Shower

  • Tips and gratuities for any staff, porters, cooks, tea-house staff, guides etc

  • Cost of any additional Porterage and Guides for personal assistance and additional baggage

Emergency & Contingency

  • Emergency evacuation (if required)

  • Cost of hiring (Charter) Helicopter in case of failure of arrival of flights to and from Lukla due to Force Majeure conditions

  • Personal transportation except as mentioned in the above program

  • Hire of Sleeping bags, Sleeping Liner, Sleeping mats, Back Pack, Hydration Packs etc.

  • Extra Blankets for the trekking nights

  • Contingency charges in case of delay due to weather / accident or illness of self or any other group member / act of God / or any situation out of the control of the trip leader / conductor

  • Any item not included in the “PRICE INCLUSION” section above
